Hyderabad: Several Left wing groups on Friday pledged to fight collectively on public issues and for social justice. Representatives of eight Communists parties participated in a talk on ‘Social Justice- Left Parties - Joint Action Plan,’ organised by the Marxist Communist Party of India (United) here at Sundarayya Vignana Kendram on Friday.

Several eminent speakers said the State and Central governments had failed to tackle atrocities against the downtrodden. Speaking on the occasion, Justice Chandra Kumar said all Communist parties must unite to fight for social justice.

He stressed the need for unity in the struggle for social justice and offered his support to them. “All anti-social elements in the society are causing hostilities among people and this should be tackled by governments.

Unfortunately, government is least bothered about the society and is devoting its time in organising festivals,” opined Chandra Kumar. Author Kaluva Mallaiah said scholarly leaders in the Communist party should not quarrel among themselves and instead they must fight for the cause of the people against government.

Socialist Unity Centre of India (Communist) State leader Murahari supported MCPI(U) and said both SUCI(C) and MCPI(U) would work together for social justiceand would be in the forefront to fight people’s issues.
