Findings fudged: Congress
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President N Uttam Kumar Reddy here on Saturday termed the poll survey commissioned by the TRS as asinine and expressed confidence that the Congress would win 80 seats if the elections were held now. He ridiculed the projections in the survey that the TRS would win 109 out of 119 seats if the mid-term elections were held now.

He ridiculed the projections in the survey that the TRS would win 109 out of 119 seats if the mid-term elections were held now.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Saturday, Uttam Kumar Reddy described the poll survey commissioned by the TRS as “bogus.” The survey findings were cooked up. Chief Minsiter K Chandrashekar Rao could have taught lessons in political propaganda to Goebbels, if the latter were alive today. he said.
“The people have become restive over the style of functioning of the TRS government,” he said.Referring to the claim that 30 per cent of people expressed their satisfaction over the government’s double bedroom scheme, Uttam Kumar Reddy said it was nothing but insulting the wisdom of the people.
He challenged the Chief Minister to ensure that all the 24 MLAs, who defected to the TRS from the Opposition parties, quit and contest on the TRS ticket.
Stating that the people would teach a fitting lesson to KCR and his family members, he said and added that the Chief Minister should explain as to why his government had failed to release fund for Arogyasri and fee reimbursement schemes.
The government had boasted that it had a budge for Rs 1.30 lakh crore. But it failed to release funds for midday meal scheme too, he pointed out.
