Three including seven-year-old girl killed in road accident

In a tragic road accident, three persons were killed including a seven-year-old girl in Khammam district on Thursday. The girl was killed on her birthday.

The mishap took place when an over speeding lorry rammed onto pedestrians at Pinapaka in Wyra Mandal. The driver is learned to have been under the influence of alcohol when the tragedy took place.

Three others sustained severe injuries and rushed to a local government hospital.

Police have registered a case and taken the driver into custody.
