Mahbubnagar: Six students of Civil engineering department from Jayaprakash Narayana College of Engineering bagged placements in Sri Cement, a leading cement manufacturing company, during a campus placement drive held in the college premises on Thursday.
The college authorities said that the organisers of Sri Cement had approached the college for recruiting fresh talented engineering graduates from the civil engineering department for the post of Techno-Marketing Assistants and conducted a written examination for the civil engineering final year graduates and later on held group discussions to filter the best of the talents.
Among the 120 final year students about 30 students were filtered for the final selections to the interview and out of them six were selected. S K Ravi Kumar, Chairman of JPNCE expressed happiness and congratulated all those who got selected in the campus placements. Students those who were selected in the campus placement include P Srikanth, Sharat Chandra, Arij Ulla Sharif, Misbauddin, Abdul Masum Baba and Sohail.
