NIMS Doctors continue with strike

Hyderabad: Doctors at Nizams Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) continue to protest while the patients are suffering.

On Tuesday, a regulated number of patients were being attended by the consultant physicians at NIMS, since staff doctors were staging strike against the appointment of cardiothoracic surgeon, R V Kumar as Dean.

Over 350 resident doctors continued with the protest against Dr Kumar’s appointment who was facing alleged charges of corruption from Anti-Corruption Bureau and sexual harassment.
