Show of humanity Auto driver returns bag containing Rs 5 lakh to passenger

Santosh Nagar: At a time when people hardly have trust, an auto driver Mohammed Aqeel, a resident of Edi Bazaar, showed the good side of humanity. He returned Rs 5 lakh to a passenger who had forgotten his bag in the auto. Sundar, a native of Hisar, Haryana, came to Hyderabad with his family and friends. He took an auto from Abids to Cherlapally on Monday morning around 9 am and reached Cherlapally at 10 am.

Later, when he realised his bag, also containing his cell phone, was missing he called on his phone. Sundar who was under immense tension thinking he had lost the money was in a surprise when the Samaritan auto driver received the call. The auto driver asked him to collect the bag from Santosh Nagar, which he did at 1:30 pm. As a token of appreciation, Sundar gave the auto driver Rs 11,000. Auto driver Mohammed Aqeel said that, he belongs to a poor family and rides a rented auto.
