1-year jail term for SI Yousuf Jani

Chilukur ( Suryapet): Kodad Additional First Class Magistrate B Priyanka handed out one year jail term to SI Yousuf Jani and also the fine of Rs 5,000 in a dowry harassment case.
The wife of Yousuf Jani had lodged a complaint against him at Chilukur police station in 2010. After cross examination of witnesses, the judge gave verdict and convicted accused Yusuf Jani, SI Naryana Reddy.
If the accused failed to pay fine, he will have to spend one more month jail term as per the verdict, police said. At present Yusuf Jani is working as a SI at traffic police station in Miyapur in Hyderabad.
