Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrashekar Rao will end his election campaign with a public meeting in Gajwel Assembly constituency on December 5, which is also the last day for campaigning for the elections in the State.

The caretaker Chief Minister has been campaigning in about six to seven Assembly constituencies in a day and is likely to continue the same till December 3. The TRS chief will address a public meeting in Hyderabad on December 2, where he is also likely to announce the party manifesto. The TRS is hoping that the Defence authorities would allocate Parade Grounds for the public meeting of KCR in Hyderabad. However, the authorities are yet to give a clarity on allocating the venue for the TRS public meeting.

According to sources, the BJP has also applied for the same venue for the public meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. If the Defence authorities provide permission for TRS, then the caretaker Chief Minister would address the meeting on December 2 if there is no public meeting of BJP at Parade Grounds. The TRS is also looking at an alternative venue at Petbasheerabad on the outskirts of the city. Meanwhile, TRS leader T Harish Rao on Friday reviewed the arrangements for the December 5 meeting of KCR at Gajwel.
