Moments of joy, memories forever

The excitement of a woman becoming a mother is special. During the maternity phase, it is common for women to crave for special food and every desire that hits their mind, they want to actualise on it. Stating a conventional quote, “As the month passes the pregnant women tend to arrive at their favourites that are ruled to be fulfilled to make them happy”.

Shooting the tender moments of pregnancy and capturing the memories has caught up in a big way. The modern photography technology and the increased incomes is allowing the parents-to-be give into this indulgence.

The photoshoot of this kind requires an expression of joy and emotion that gets integrated with the scenic location to craft an impact for the picture; and Hyderabad has many such locations. “The perfect blend of outdoors and indoors at botanical gardens, area around Durgam Cheruvu, Novotel Hyderabad, render pictures a variety when on shoot,” says Namrata Rupani, a photographer from Hyderabad. And many agree that evening light jells with the subject for impeccable photography.

Apart from the locations, the comfortable clothing to show off the baby bump is essential. Most of the women prefer long gown that goes in coordination with hair style and makeup. “Nowadays, a lot of moms go for gowns having flowy fabric,” says Namrata.

Another photographer, Lakshmi from Kondapur, Hyderabad, feels that there is a huge effort put in by the professional photographer to bring in suitable expressions from the couple that make a good photograph. She says, “We schedule few introduction sessions with the women to make her comfortable, flexible and bring in a relaxed mood, to get the desired expression from her.”

She pointed that the expectant mothers, who care a lot about their baby, are very cautious about the dress and yet wish to look beautiful at the same time. Sangeeta Malpani, a mother, and a jewellery designer form Jubilee Hills say, “We were colour- coordinated with a simple black T-shirt and denim bottoms. And didn’t want to take away emphasis from the emotions.”

“Motherhood is a special feeling, and even after six years I can recall my memorable moments that had got captured for my second pregnancy. The photoshoot had pictured the emotions of all three of us, waiting for the fourth member to join the family,” she added. The photoshoot evidently had the family posing.

Another mother, Neelima, who works for an MNC says, “Being a mother is a unique feeling with an emotional touch. The picture clicks on the baby bump help me recollect memories of a time, when I flip through, leaving an emotional smile on my face,” she said.

The trending maternity photo shoot that started off with elite class is now knocking all sections of people. The price tag is based on the designated number of weeks of the shoot and location. It is always better to opt for a maternity photo shoot after passing the eighth month, say specialised photographers. However, “We respect customers choice,” they said.
