OnePlus One Smartphone caught fire, firm investigating matter
"We take such incidents seriously. Our team has already reached out to the user and is investigating this further,” replied OnePlus.
Recently a user who was using OnePlus One has complained about his smartphone catching fire in the mid of the night. The user's concern over the build quality of OnePlus handsets got provoked after the incident. It won't be fair to say that there is as an issue with all OnePlus smartphones especially the incident is an isolated one.
This incident was shared by user Chaiti Narula on Twitter, where she shared that Rahul Himalian, the owner of the phone, was woken up in the night by "suffocating and nauseating" fumes around 3:15 am. The OnePlus One happened to be in switched off mode and was also unplugged, according to him. Rahul said after noticing the fumes coming out of the device he sopped the flames with water and according to him this is how he prevented it from exploding.

Rahul has demanded OnePlus and Amazon to compensate for the grievances caused by the exploding phone.
