Former India captain turned politician Mohammed Azharuddin won the election of Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA).
Hyderabad: Former India captain turned politician Mohammed Azharuddin won the election of Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA).
Azharuddin has won with a clear cut majority by securing 147 votes out of the 227 votes polled in the election held on Friday.
Azhar's opponent backed by BJP leader G.Vivek was polled 73 votes.
Azharuddin was the hot favourite for the post of President of HCA. Three of the members didn't come for voting.
