State BJP chief spokesperson Krishna Saagar Rao has come down heavily on the State government

Hyderabad: State BJP chief spokesperson Krishna Saagar Rao has come down heavily on the State government, TRS party and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and Karimnagar Commissioner of Police Kamalahasan Reddy for giving a clean chit to MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi.

Addressing the media here on Monday, he said the hate speech by the MIM MLA in Karimnagar on July 23 had gone viral and people across the country had seen and condemned it.

Though it was a fit case for taking suo motu action on account of inciting violence and disturbing communal harmony, the Karimangar Police Commissioner had given a clean chit, citing the advice of legal experts, he added.

Rao said "He (Akbaruddin) had given his speech on July 23. BJP had condemned it on the same day. On July 25, the MLA came up with a statement claiming that he did not make any hate speech, but some political parties are trying to rake up an issue out of it.

On July 27, the Karimnagar Police Commissioner came up with a statement claiming that as per the opinion of legal experts the MAL committed no wrong and the police are not going to file any criminal case."

This shows how Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is efficiently trying to save his friends fielding government officials to give clean chit to those who have insulted Hindus and Hindu society.

"People of Telangana, Hindus and Dharma Rakshaks in the State should understand the Chief Minister's and TRS anti-Hindu attitude," he said.

Referring to portions of the speech of the Majlis MLA, Rao asked the Police Commissioner whether threatening the majority religion, reminding his "15 minutes' and other assertions amounted to some patriotic statements for him.

He asked the Police Commissioner how he can take over the role of judges to decide that the MIM legislator had committed no wrong. He wondered whether Commissioner of Police is empowered to refuse file an FIR. He said that the party has the highest regard for the IAS and IPS officials and police administration in Telangana.

Every official has to function within rules and regulations of their respective service rules.

If someone tries to act like a TRS activist showing unwarranted enthusiasm, then we will submit a representation to the Union Home Ministry, DoPT and Prime Minister's Office against such All India Service Officers, he cautioned.
