Speaking to the delegates of NIRD and EPTRI on medicinal plants and environment protection, Dr Rao said, "Human beings have started overusing natural resources and have broken this natural balance. This resulted that the planet we live in is suffering deforestation, pollution, extinction of various species and rising temperatures." Delegates from 50 countries participated in the programme.
