District Collector Anita Ramachandran directed the officials concerned to pay attention to nurseries established in villages under Haritha Haram programme.

Yadadri-Bhongir: District Collector Anita Ramachandran directed the officials concerned to pay attention to nurseries established in villages under Haritha Haram programme.

She visited Haritha Haram nurseries at Hanmapuram, B Timmapuram in Bhongir mandal on Wednesday and inspected the saplings.

Speaking on the occasion, she said as many as 2.48 crore saplings have been raised in the district for the 5th phase of Haritha Haram. She directed the officials and staff concerned to pay attention to nurseries to make Haritha Haram a great success in the district.

Apart from nurseries, over 1.75 crore saplings through NREGS scheme and 73 lakh saplings through Forest department have been raised for distribution under Haritha Haram programme, she added.

In this programme, DRDA Assistant Project Director Shyamala, Technical Assistant Ramachandraiah, Field Assistants and others participated.
