The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued heatwave warning in Hyderabad for the next four days i.e, from May 15 to 18.

According to the IMD, the temperature in the districts like Adilabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Warangal, Khammam, Nizamabad, Nalgonda, Siddipet, Karimnagar is expected to touch 45-46 degrees.

The reason for the rise in temperature is due to the flow of dry winds from northwest direction.

On Tuesday, Nizamabad witnessed highest temperature of 43.4 degrees followed by Adilabad 43.3, Medak and Nalgonda at 43.2, Ramagundam at 42.2 and Hyderabad at 40.3 degrees.
