Khammam labour officer killed over financial dispute
A labour officer, Anand Reddy, was brutally hacked to death by a TRS leader here at Khammam district.
A labour officer, Anand Reddy, was brutally hacked to death by a TRS leader here at Khammam district. Anand who is reported to have gone missing on March 7 was found dead on Tuesday. He is a native of Obul Keshavapur of Jangaon district.
Getting into details, Mopu Anand Reddy and Pradeep Reddy have invested around Rs 80-90 lakhs in sand business. However, Pradeep collected more profits than Anand and later assured to return some amount and land.
On March 7, Pradeep, Anand and a few others met in a hotel in Hanamkonda and later they went to Rampur forest area. The family members said that no response from Anand since March 7.
However, he was found dead on Tuesday. The police said that the accused tied the victim's hands and then slit his throat. The police registered a case and are investigating.
