Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar expressed his ire against Panchayat Raj Secretary after observing piles of garbage on the roads in Kodakodima village of Wyra constituency
Khammam: Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar expressed his ire against Panchayat Raj Secretary after observing piles of garbage on the roads in Kodakodima village of Wyra constituency.
On Monday, he launched sanitation drive in Konijerla, Tanikalla and Kodakodima villages. Later, he toured Kondakodima village on foot and noticed garbage on roads and beside the roads. He became furious and questioned Mandal Development Officer and Village Secretary as what they did during Palle Pragathi programme in the village. Expressing dissatisfaction on the situation of drainages in the village, he ordered the officials concerned to issue notices to the villages immediately, who do not follow the rules.
Later at a meeting, the Minister appealed to the people to wear mask and follow the lockdown rules. He also urged them to participate in sanitation works in the villages following the call of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. He also appreciated Kondakodima village sarpanch for following the guideline of Palle Pragathi.
District Collector RV Karnan and district officers were present along with the Minister.
