Congress MP from Malkajgiri A Revanth Reddy on Friday got into an argument with Assembly secretary Narasimhacharyulu on denial of permission to hold press conference in the media hall of the Congress.
Hyderabad: Congress MP from Malkajgiri A Revanth Reddy on Friday got into an argument with Assembly secretary Narasimhacharyulu on denial of permission to hold press conference in the media hall of the Congress.
Revanth Reddy announced that he would address the media at 4 pm on Friday at the media hall. The officials of the CLP sent a letter in this regard to Assembly higher ups in the morning.
The secretary's office informed the CLP office that the MP would not be allowed to address the press in the media hall. Revanth who reached the Assembly at 4 pm went to secretary's office and got into an argument.
He pointed out that the MPs could address the press at media hall when there is no session. He said that if permission was not given, he would move privilege motion against the secretary. Later, he was allowed to address the press at media hall.
