Getting into details, Naik, a resident of Gudimalkapur has two children and was working at HSBC. His interest in cricket drove him to participate in the match between MP sporting and MP Blues. Naik played for MP blues at a playground near East Marredpally and made 55 runs.

Minutes after he returned from the match, Naik collapsed in the ground and died.

Naik's family said that he has suffered from heart attack two months ago and got the treatment. Based on the complaint lodged by the Naik's brother Avinash, the police registered a case.
