Man held for cyberstalking in Hyderabad
The sleuths of Cyber Crime Police Station, Rachakonda on Saturday arrested a cyber stalker named John George (30) for posting abusive comments on a social media platform, where in the accused posted derogatory comments against the victim, who is his wife.
Hyderabad: The sleuths of Cyber Crime Police Station, Rachakonda on Saturday arrested a cyber stalker named John George (30) for posting abusive comments on a social media platform, where in the accused posted derogatory comments against the victim, who is his wife.
According to the officials, accused working as projector operator at a multiplex in ECIL from past three years. On September 23, there was an altercation between the accused and his wife and out of grudge on his wife, he created an account on one of the social media platforms and posted the group photo of his wife's colleagues with abusive text messages claiming to be call girls and also posted the phone number of the victim and thus insulted the modesty of women.
On receipt of the complaint, a case has been registered under sections 509 C IPC and 66C of IT Act. On Saturday, as per the technical evidence, he was nabbed from Nagaram.
