All India Congress Committee (AICC) secretary V Hanumantha Rao on Thursday

Hyderabad: All India Congress Committee (AICC) secretary V Hanumantha Rao on Thursday criticised that there were some leaders in the party who have been acting as coverts to the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS).

Addressing the media, he said that they should be shunted out lest the party interests would be damaged.

He said the moles in the Congress have been carrying all the activities taking place in the Gandhi Bhavan to TRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao.

Hanumantha Rao said that soon he would expose the coverts in the party. He said that loyalists in the party are being punished.

The party has been showing discrimination in lifting the suspension on the leaders. Suspensions have been lifted only on few leaders.

He wanted to know as to why importance was given to leaders who came from the other parties and not given to the leaders of the Congress.

He said that few leaders have been trying to ensure the success of YSR Congress president YS Jagan in Andhra Pradesh and Chandrashekar Rao in Telangana.

Hanumantha Rao lamented that the fight being waged by the Congress against the TRS government was a bogus one.
