Khammam: TRS candidate from Khammam Lok Sabha constituency Nama Nageshwar Rao on Friday expressed confidence that he would win with a huge majority of not less than 1 lakh votes the election.

"Thanks to the party cadre and voters who worked hard for my victory", Nama said. He thanked the police officers, staff and other government officials who conducted a peaceful and safe election for everyone.

Nama addressed a press conference at the TRS office along with the party's State secretary and Khammam Parliament seat in-charge Nukala Naresh Reddy. He said many leaders worked hard day and night for party's success from the village level to the State level. He added that "there was an enormous positive response from the public in every village where we campaigned. People expressed their support and gave blessings for the party's success."

"We will be indebted to every party member who worked hard for us. People entrusted us as they believed in the welfare programmes being implemented by CM KCR. There is a similar response from everyone across the State. TRS candidates will win in all 17 Parliament segments including alliance parties with a huge majority," he added.

Nama said people are shifting towards regional parties and are keen on taking back the power from national parties across the country. We in TRS believe that true fruits of democracy can be achieved only by voting for regional parties.

"Under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, we are confident that we will win all the 17 parliamentary seats."

"We promise our followers to give them a voice at the Center and work day and night for the progress of the State," Nageswara said.
