Miryalaguda/Nalgonda: The local police have removed the camp of striking RTC workers from the premises of Miryalaguda bus stand on Tuesday. Expressing their concern over the police action, the RTC workers staged a protest at Telangana Martyr's pillar in the town.

However, the police took the protesting workers into custody to control the situation.

RTC workers unions have expressed their ire over the police hard stand against them and described it as a step of police taken on the direction of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, who is trying to suppress the RTC strike with police force.

Similarly in Nalgonda also, the police directed the striking employees to vacate newly-constructed platforms in the bus stand.
