Doctors working in the Public Health department have urged Health Minister Eatala Rajender to fulfill their long-pending demands
Hyderabad: Doctors working in the Public Health department have urged Health Minister Eatala Rajender to fulfill their long-pending demands. A delegation of doctors from Public Health department including Dr Lalu Prasad Rathod and Dr Deeedayal and others met the Health Minister on this issue.
They brought to the notice of the Minister about pending CAS (Civil Assistant Surgeon) promotions that were kept pending for the last two years.
The delegation also demanded a retirement age hike decision which is extended for the teaching faculty in DME side be also given to non-teaching doctors working under the Directorate of Health.
They also requested the Minister to look into the demand of risk allowance of Rs 15,000 as promised by CM earlier. Health Minister assured the delegation that he would direct officials to expedite fulfillment of the demands, Dr Lalu Prasad said.
