Dismissing a writ petition filed by the RTC workers, the High Court on Friday issued a green signal to privatise 5100 bus routes in Telangana. The court said that there is nothing wrong with the cabinet's decision of privatising the 50 per cent of TSRTC.

The government and the RTC workers are awaiting the court's verdict after Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said that the final decision on the workers will be taken based on the court's verdict. Meanwhile, the RTC unions who decided to call off the strike if the government permits to rejoin the worker has called for rallies at all the bus depots tomorrow.

The Chief Minister who said that the government can't bear the financial burden of RTC is likely to take a call over the strike today.
