Two young girls aged about 20 years committed suicide by hanging themselves from a ceiling fan here on Friday evening at Hayathnagar.
Two young girls aged about 20 years committed suicide by hanging themselves from a ceiling fan here on Friday evening at Hayathnagar.
Getting into details, Mamatha and Gauthami used to stay in the Srinivasa colony in Hayathnagar and has pursued intermediate. Later Mamatha parents Ramulu and Tirupathamma, a native of Potnapally in Mahbubnagar had moved to home to Raghavendra colony. While Mamatha was working in a school, Gauthami is in search of a job.
On Friday, Gauthami went to Mamatha's home where the duo hanged themselves from the same ceiling fan. The duo left suicide notes behind expressing dissatisfaction over their lives. They stated that they didn't want to be a burden on their lives.
The incident came to light when Mamatha's parents returned home. They broke the door after no response from their daughter.
The police registered a case and sent the bodies to Osmania General Hospital for a post-mortem.
