TTD Trust Board Chairman YV Subba Reddy on Friday inspected Aswini Hospital run by TTD and for its employees and pilgrims and the dump yard located at Kakulakonda in Tirumala.
Tirumala: TTD Trust Board Chairman YV Subba Reddy on Friday inspected Aswini Hospital run by TTD and for its employees and pilgrims and the dump yard located at Kakulakonda in Tirumala. During his whirlwind visit, he inspected the Aswini Hospital where works are going on to provide more facilities including operation theatre and wards.
He said the works would be completed in three months for providing more medical facilities to patients. He inspected the Apollo Cardiology Centre and the ambulances in Aswini Hospital and also the makeshift hospital in HVDC area. Later, he inspected the dump yard to see the garbage dumping in Tirumala.
Speaking to media, the Chairman said the Aswini Hospital will be developed with more advanced medical facilities for better patient care. He claimed that due to streamlining of the issuing of VIP break darshan tickets, the darshan time for common pilgrims has now increased by two hours.
It may be noted here that TTD scraped categorisation of the VIP break darshan tickets which was earlier issued into three category L1, L2 and L3 and is now issuing uniform VIP passes for darshan on payment. Aswini Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Narmada, Dr Kusuma Kumari and Health Officer Dr RR Reddy were present.
