The students of DAV Sri Vishnu Niketan School of Dondapadu excelled in sports and won gold and silver medals at the divisional level Kabaddi competitions held at the Orchid School in Huzurnagar
Jaggaiahpet: The students of DAV Sri Vishnu Niketan School of Dondapadu excelled in sports and won gold and silver medals at the divisional level Kabaddi competitions held at the Orchid School in Huzurnagar for the Under-14 years and under-17 years category, said Principal N Madhusudana Rao on Sunday.
He said that U Shivaiah of Class IX and Y Venu of Class X bagged gold medal in Under 14 years category and G Sateesh and V Pavan of Class X were the runners up and received silver medals in the Under-17 years category. He said that U Shivaiah of class IX was selected as the best rider and will represent the district at the district level meet which will be held on September 21.
TS Zone Regional officer Seethakiran, chairman LMC G Gopal Krishna Murthy, school staff congratulated the players on their achievement and appreciated the PETT K Veerabhadram for his effort.
