Kadapa: Kadapa police administration which is having the credibility of successfully implementing several initiatives like Locked House Monitoring System(LHMS) Naka Bandi, Cordon &Search for bringing down the crime rate, now going ahead with a social responsibility called 'Operation Muskaan'.

Muskaan is a social activity meant to rescue the children from bonded labor, generally implemented by Labor department occasionally by Non-Governmental Organizations. But as part of the initiative in eradicating the child labor police department headed by the district superintendent of police KVVN Anburajan implementing "Operation Muskaan' by setting up 58 teams for this particular purpose.

According to the as many as 249 child labor who working in hotels, factories, shops, houses, mechanic sheds, staying in railway stations, bus stands begging in public places in the areas like Pulivendula, Jammalamadugu, Proddaturu, Rajampet, Mydukuru, Kadapa rescued and handed over to their parents while 26 children were shifted to childcare homes on Thursday.

Speaking to Hans India SP said that Operation Muskaan will be continued in view of total eradication of child labor in the district. He said a special arrangement has been made by allocating 58 teams for the purpose. He detail that SB DSP and himself with the NO 9121100504, 90040796900 always available. He urged the public to inform whenever noticed child labor in their respective areas. "It is the responsibility of the citizens to took part in the eradication of child labor as police department lonely achieve such mammoth task," he said.
