More petitions received at Spandana: Collector
A total of 681 petitioners from various parts of the district attended the Spandana grievance cell at East Godavari Collectorate here on Monday.
Kakinada: A total of 681 petitioners from various parts of the district attended the Spandana grievance cell at East Godavari Collectorate here on Monday. District Collector D Muralidhar Reddy, Joint Collector Lakshmisha, JC 2 Ch Sathi Babu and DRO MV Govinda Rajulu received representations from the public.
Necessary arrangements have been made for the issue receipts for the representations received. To make the public aware of various schemes of the government, information department has arranged Kalajatha teams at Spandana hall.
Ch Sindhu of Pitapuram represented to the Collector saying that she had been suffering with Thalassemia disease for the last 7 years and requested for treatment and financial assistance for petty business.
The Collector immediately directed the DMHO for treatment and ED of SC Corporation to sanction subsidised loan to her. J Vanama Raju, a post-graduate and physically challenged from Vadisaleru village in Rangampeta mandal requested the Collector for provision of employment. The Collector directed AD of disabled welfare to take necessary action.
Pothula Gowtham, a handicapped person from Devaguptam in Allavaram mandal who earlier represented for financial assistance for self-employment in last week Spandana has been provided subsidised loan of Rs 60,000 and a cheque to this amount was handed over to him by Collector.
