Coronavirus in Andhra Pradesh as on 16 October Andhra Pradesh reports 3,967 new COVID19 cases, 25 more fatalities and 5,010 recoveries. Infection tally rises to 7,75,470, death toll reaches 6,382. The number of active cases in the state stands at 38,979.

Andhra Pradesh News: The government of Andhra Pradesh has decided to conduct online admissions in degree colleges in the state from this academic year (2020-21). Vijayawada Kanaka Durga flyover inaugurated
The long-cherished wish of the people of Vijayawada was fulfilled today. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy today inaugurated the Vijayawada Kanakadurga flyover, which has been delayed for the past few days, through a virtual program on Friday. They later laid the foundation for another 16 projects. The 2.6 km long Durga Gudi bridge was constructed in six rows at a cost of Rs 502 crore. The flyover was completed in 900 days.
