Malkajgiri: GHMC Deputy Commissioner K Venugopal said all the necessary arrangements were made for conduct of Bathukamma celebrations in the circle. He monitored the Bathukamma celebrations at Safilguda on Sunday.
He said all the necessary arrangements were made at the mini tank bund at Safilguda for Bathukamma celebrations. Officials of various government departments were instructed to ensure that women who participate in the celebrations do not face any inconvenience during the celebrations.
He was was accompanied by project officers Ashok Kumar, Ravinder Reddy, sanitation supervisor Nagaraju, sanitation staff and others. A large number of women participated in the Bathukamma celebrations at mini Tank Bund.
