AYUSH centre to come up in Ananthagiri Hills
A new AYUSH healthcare centre is coming up at Ananthagiri Hills soon.
Vikarabad: A new AYUSH healthcare centre is coming up at Ananthagiri Hills soon. MLA Dr M Anand and the Commissioner of AYUSH Alugu Varshini visited the TB Hospital located amid the hills on Wednesday and inspected wards and buildings.
Speaking on the occasion, the Commissioner disclosed that the AYUSH centre was coming up at the TB Hospital. MLA Anand said the funds released for the repairs of TB hospital were not used properly, and the amount would be spent for the new AYUSH centre. He also revealed that Rs 6 crore had been sanctioned for the newly proposed centre.
Alugu Varshini said the TB hospital was established there due to the serene setting and healthy air. "Now the number of inmates of the hospital has declined, but the hospital will continue along with AYUSH centre," she said.
She said infrastructure, facilities and buildings would be provided soon for the newly proposed health care centre. Superintendent of the hospital Sudhakar Shinde, TSMIDC DEE Arjun and others were present.
