PM Modi visits Kashi Vishwanath  temple to offer prayers post victory

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited his parliamentary constituency - Varanasi on Monday, and offered prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath temple.

Four days after the Lok Sabha 2019 elections results have been declared with a resounding victory for BJP, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport, Babatpur.

BJP president Amit Shah, UP BJP chief Mahendra Nath Pandey, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Governor Ram Naik and other officials were present to welcome him.

The convoy proceeded towards Kashi Vishwanath temple in the heart of the city, during which people stood on the roads, greeting and cheering for the second-time elected Prime Minister.

Narendra Modi prayed to the deity as priests recited prayers or shlokas.
