Krishi Karman award for State. The award will be presented by the President during the inaugural ceremony of the World Congress on Agro Forestry, 2014, at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi, on February 10.
Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh has been selected for Krishi Karman award for showing best performance in the production of millets for the year 2012-13.
The award consists of a trophy, citation and Rs 1 crore to be used for the work of environment in the Department of Directorate of Agriculture.
The award will be presented by the President during the inaugural ceremony of the World Congress on Agro Forestry, 2014, at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi, on February 10.
Union Minister for Agriculture Sharad Pawar informed about the award through a letter to Minister for Agriculture Kanna Lakshminarayana on Friday.
