Hyderabad: A total of 3, 30, 688 students have applied so far for the EAMCET, which is scheduled to be held on May 22. The last date to apply without penalty is April 4.
EAMCET authorities have been expecting that more than 4 lakh would apply this year in both engineering and medical streams. More students are likely to register on Thursday and Friday, they said.
The number of applicants in the medical stream has already touched 90,000.
This year more girl students have applied in both the streams.
Students can apply up to April 18 with a fine of Rs 500, April 25 with a fine of Rs 1000, May 5 with Rs 5,000 fee and May 14 with a penalty of Rs 10,000.
