Manchiryal: Warangal Range DIG Kantha Rao inspected the crime affected Basar and Manchiryal villages in Adilabad district on Tuesday. It may be noted that some unidentified persons murdered three persons at Basar and two in Manchiryal recently. With these murders, people in the district are in the grip of fear.
Accompanied by SP Sarvasresht Tripathi, the DIG Kantha Rao inspected the crime spots at Basar and Manchiryal in the district. Mr Kantha Rao, addressing the media here on Tuesday, said that the miscreants belong to other states. Special teams were formed to nab the culprits. He hoped that the criminals would be nabbed shortly. He asked the people not to be panicked.
In the wake of criminals going at large after being involved in murder and robbery in two different incidents, “anti-crime squads” are going to be formed very soon, said the Warangal Range DIG Dr.M. Kanta Rao. Addressing the media, Kanta Rao revealed that an anti-crime squad with police from four districts in Warangal Zone will be shortly to nab the culprits. Additional SP V. Bhaskar Rao, Manchiryal DSP M. Ramankumar and Bellampalli DSP M.Ravinder Reddy and others were present.
