To cater the same, city hotels and entertainment zones have come up with various plans that attract the youngsters and families alike.
Vijayawada: As countdown to welcome New Year began, citizens are already busy looking out for suitable places to ring in the New Year with rejuvenated energy and full of hopes. To cater the same, city hotels and entertainment zones have come up with various plans that attract the youngsters and families alike.
While many of the celebrations will be conducted at colonies, apartments and other private places, hotels and resorts in the city are also gearing up for the New Year eve to attract party goers. For the ones who can spend bucks on entertainment, city hotels are ready for offering a night filled with surprises, activities and more.
Local hotels like Fortune Murali Park and The Gateway have announced their special package programmes to celebrate the even with unlimited food and complimentary drinks. Haailand Resort at Chinna Kakani near Vijayawada had roped in music director S S Taman to perform for an hour or so, to rise up the heat. The rest of places in question have signed with television personalities and singers to host their shows apart from special dance with DJ shows.
General manager of the Hotel Fortune Murali Park Sujith Chamukutty said, “we have a good clientele who regular to the hotel on every New Year. To keep it a formality, we also come up with exiting packages that offer accommodation along with entertainment or only entertainment with great food. Lucky draw and games shows are also part of the programme that we designed.”
Berm Park, restaurants and convention centers have also announced new year special items. The prices for the tickets at these specially arranged parties start at Rs 1,500 per stag and go up to Rs 3,500.
Most of the Christian communities, however, make it a point to spend the final and fresh moments of the New Year at places of worship owing to their sentiments.
