Chirala Engineering College wins Kabaddi title
Kabaddi team captain Balaji appreciated the efforts of the players and expressed confidence that this performance would boost the players’ morale ahead of inter-college tournament being organised by JNTU. For the good show, the team members were felicitated by the college management on Monday.
Ongole: It is a reflection on the encouragement that the college gives to sports that students of Chirala Engineering College have regularly been winning laurels. That latest is the kabaddi title the college won in the national level sports meet organised by QIS College of Engineering and Technology in Ongole. About 16 teams from various colleges participated in the tournament.
Chirala Engineering College team led by its captain Balaji registered wins over ML Engineering College from Singarayakonda in quarter finals, St Ann’s Engineering College in semifinals and the host QIS Engineering College in finals.
