Enhance greenery in Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam temples: EO

Tirupati: The ambience should be developed in the local temples of TTD on the lines of Tirumala by developing aesthetic gardens to attract the multitude of visiting pilgrims, said TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao. The weekly review meeting with senior officers of TTD held in his chambers at Tirupati administrative building on Monday.

In this meeting, the EO felt the need to enhance the surrounding environs of the local temples by developing greenery through the ornamental plantation. Later, he instructed the engineering officials to complete the pending renovation works of various Kalyana mandapams.

“A regular watch is a must by the respective engineers on the Kalyana mandapams located at different places and the repairs should be ensured within stipulated time frame,” he added. He also reviewed the progress of developmental works at Anantavaram, Vontimitta and instructed the concerned to speed up the works.

The EO reviewed on the Subhapradam summer coaching camp which was conducted from May 22 to 29 and made a few suggestions for the wider reach of the programme. “The SVBC should prepare modules in the more attractive way so that it reaches number of children,” he said.

In view of the next year calendar and diary, he instructed the officials concerned to come with action plan now itself. Tirupati JEO P Bhaskar, All Projects Special Officer N Muktheswara Rao, CE Chandrasekhar Reddy and other officers were also present.
