Collector Vadarevu Vinay Chand inaugurates Anna Canteen at Addanki

Addanki: The Prakasam district Collector, Vadarevu Vinay Chand opened Anna Canteen in Addanki town on Thursday.
The Collector along with the local MLA Gottipati Ravi Kumar, panchayat president Parimi Dayamani, MPP Karri Aruna and others participated in the pooja.
Later, the Collector and MLA served food to the customers and enquired about their satisfaction on the food items and their quality.
The Collector said that about 200 canteens were opened all over the 13 districts in the state and it was the aim of the chief minister to offer food to the poor public through the scheme.
He said that the canteen will be helpful to the people coming to Addanki from nearby villages for various works.
He said that the price for meals in a normal hotel was around Rs 100, but the government was providing two meals and one breakfast at just Rs 15 altogether.
He said that the public should appreciate the chief minister for introducing the generous scheme.
The MLA said that the people or trusts willing to donate to the canteen can do so by sending DD or cheque in the name of Collector.
He said that the donors names will be displayed on the day while feeding the people.
He handed over the donation cheques from Gopala Swamy, Srinivas and Junior NTR fans association to the Collector during the meeting.
