Rajamahendravaram: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) Rajamahendravaram Parliamentary Constituency co-ordinator and MP candidate Margani Bharat has said that party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy has honoured his promise and given MP ticket to a BC candidate.
Addressing maiden press conference at his office here on Friday, he said after 70 years of independence, the YSRCP was the only party identified BCs and given ticket to a BC candidate. He said Jagan was considering sharing power with BCs and the remaining parties are using BCs as their vote banks.
He added BCs would prove their mettle in the forthcoming Assembly and general elections. He said that he will march ahead with the suggestions of party senior leaders and mingle with the people.YSRCP MLC Pilli Subash Chandra Bose advised Margani Bharat to take decision relating to any issue after thinking once or twice.
He appealed to Bharat to work for the people’s welfare. “Victory and defeat is common in elections, but a leader who treats the people equally will have bright future,” he said.
YSRCP state youth wing president Jakkampudi Raja assured to work for victory of Bharat in the ensuing elections. YSRCP leaders Margani Nageswara Rao, JV Lakshmi N Srinivas, NS Rao, NG Krishna, RSP Rao and others were present.
