Vain bid to loot ATM at Nandigama

Vijayawada: There was an attempt to break open an ATM machine at Nandigama of Krishna district in the wee hours of Thursday.
An unidentified youth tried in vain to break open the Syndicate Bank ATM machine at Veerulapadu.
The youth wore a scarf to hide his face and put on gloves and entered the ATM room and broke open the front portion of the ATM machine with the tools he carried.
However, the youth could not open the main lock where the cash was placed in the ATM and flee the premises.
The security on observing that the ATM’s front portion was broke open he informed the police and alerted them.
The police rushed to the ATM and registered a case. They started the investigation basing on the CCTV footage.
