Vijayawada: Entrepreneurs establishing industries in Andhra Pradesh can henceforth get provisional fire No Objection Certificate (NoC) along with building plan approval as the issuance of the certificate has been automated and was also brought under Single Desk Portal of industries department, according to commissioner of industries Siddhartha Jain.

Siddhartha Jain in a press release here on Wednesday that the NoC can be obtained within seven days of application alongside building plan approval. The automation of the issuance of provisional fire NoC has been made possible by integrating the application with building plan application and thus made part of Development Permission Management System (DPMS), said the commissioner.

Till now, the provisional fire NoC needs to be applied for separately to that department and it used to have its own timeline. The integration of provisional fire NoC with building plan approval made possible its automation so that the entrepreneur could get provisional approval regarding fire safety concerns.

Siddhartha Jain said that the integration of provisional fire NoC with Single Desk Portal of industries department is part of Ease of Doing Business initiatives of the state government that make getting approvals hassle-free in a time-bound manner through a single window system.
