Telecom operator Uninor has launched 'rocket recharge', a service that suggests customers an ideal recharge option based on their usage pattern. In addition, customers who opt for this form of recharge will get a bonus talk time also. "We have state-of-the-art systems that give us detailed information usage pattern of each Uninor customer. We will use this information for benefit of the customer by customizing recharge options through rocket recharge," said Satish Kannan, Head, AP Circle, Uninor. Uninor launched this service in AP along with other circles such UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, Maharastra, Goa and Gujarat. "What makes rocket recharge different is the 100 per cent automation. This means instant 'best offer for you' suggestion, instant bonus talk time to the customer and instant bonus commission to the retailer � within seconds of the Rocket Recharge transaction," said Amaresh Kumar, Chief Product Officer, Uninor. On customer base in AP, Kannan said Uninor base had been growing quarter-on-quarter. "At present, we have 40 lakh customers in the State. In February, we acquired 82,000 customers. Our gross additions are close to 16 per cent in the market and we enjoy 20 per cent share in the areas where we present," he said.
