Hyderabad: A 32-year-old unemployed was arrested by the Market Intelligence Wing police of Central Crime Station on charges of attempting to cheat unemployed youth with false job advertisements.

The accused Soma Venkata Sasidhar (32), resident of Bhavani Nagar in Kapra and native of Nellore district, registered a website ‘www.eenadunews.in’ by giving false information to the godaddy.com portal.

He then updated the website by posting ads through his email address [email protected] to get Google page ranking with which he planned to open an office and run his business. He was planning to use the site to cheat gullible youth.

Detective Department Additional DCP K Vijender Reddy said that the Market Intelligence Wing police have identified the fraud being done by the accused and prevented the job aspirants from losing money.

The accused Sasidhar was arrested and sent to judicial custody, Vijender Reddy said in a press note on Thursday.
