A 29-year-old software professional on Saturday was arrested in Hyderabad for allegedly raping a woman he met on a dating app. The accused working in an IT firm in Banjara Hills resides in Tolichowki and met the victim who is also a software engineer and resides in the same area, on the dating app – Tinder.
A 29-year-old software professional on Saturday was arrested in Hyderabad for allegedly raping a woman he met on a dating app. The accused working in an IT firm in Banjara Hills resides in Tolichowki and met the victim who is also a software engineer and resides in the same area, on the dating app – Tinder.
The police stated that both became friends through Tinder. The victim in her complaint stated that the incident took place when she went out with the accused for a bike ride on Tuesday. She further said that she realized what happened after she woke up the next morning as the accused laced the woman’s soft drink with alcohol and raped her after she fell unconscious.
