Two sisters die in suicide pact
Depressed with father’s untimely death and mother’s chronic illness, three siblings attempted to end their lives by jumping off a running train in the city on Friday. Two of them died on spot, while other was rushed to hospital and until latest reports, remains in critical condition.

Sk Shahin Sultana (21), Sk Parveen Sultana (20) and Sk Rukhia Sultana (22) jumped off a train from Rayanapadu railway station. The sisters were depressed following their father - Sk Rafi’s death.
According to the Inspector of Railway Police, C Srinivasa Reddy, Shahin Sultana and Parveen Sultana died on the spot and Rukhia Sultana received severe injuries.
Shahin Sultana is a post graduate, Parveen completed her engineering and Rukhia Sultana, who is married a month ago, is also a post graduate.
The deceased are survived by two siblings, who are married and were settled in Hyderabad and America. The GRP booked a case under Section 174.
