Sub-Control Room opened in Karimnagar

Karimnagar: Superintendent of Police V Ravinder inaugurated a police Sub-Control Room (SCR) at Mancherial Chowrastha in the town on Monday. This is the third Sub-Control Room in Karimnagar. As the population of the town has been increasing, the third SCR is necessitated. Addressing a meeting on the occasion, the SP said that the Sub-Control Rooms (SCR) are inaugurated for the convenience of people to file their complaints. The victims can immediately register their complaints at SCRs and seek required information from the police. SCRs were already set up at Jagityal, Korutla, Metpalli, Godavarikhani, Vemulawada, Siricilla, Peddapalli and other places in the district, he said. Police personnel would be posted at SCRs round the clock. The SCRs are helpful in clearing cases speedily. The SCRs are aimed to take quick action against eve-teasers and other culprits. More SCRs would be opened in due course at different places in the district, he said. Karimnagar Town DSP Chakravarthy, Three Town Inspector Vijay Raj and other officials were present.
