Pamela Satpathy appointed as Sub-Collector
Pamela Satpathy has been appointed as Sub-Collector for Bhadrachalam revenue division relieving B Sivanarayana Reddy, Revenue Divisional Officer, of his additional charge he was holding. She is the first ever Sub-Collector of Bhadrachalam in the State. Ever since Narayan Bharat Gupta was transferred out in 2013 in the undivided State of Andhra Pradesh, The position had been vacant.

After a gap of five years, government appointed Pamela Satpathy, daughter of DRDO official R K Satpathy, Sunabeda of the Odisha State, in the recent reshuffle of bureaucracy. She holds a degree in BE (computer science).
She cracked the civil services examination in 2014 and secured 51st rank. Her husband Deepankar is a doctor. She was the 85th official of the Bhadrachalam Revenue Division and fifth lady IAS officer to have been posted here.
